Cambrils 2014

​In the summer of 2014 I've visited Spain with my parents. When I was a little baby we always use to come here and, now, 21 years later it really feels like home. I am always looking forward to go to Spain because the weather is always good (30 degrees) and our camping is next to the beach so you only have to walk ten meters and you're already on the beach. It's just so relaxing! I love it. 

The camping is called 'La torre del sol' which means Sun tower. The camping is very large and they have a lot of facilities. Besides the beach they also have a tropical swimming pool, disco's, playgrounds, beach bar, skatepark and many more. A lot of Dutch people use to come here to celebrate their holiday. 

From the camping it's a 1,5 hour drive to Barcelona and a twentieth minutes ride to the nearest city Tarragona. In Tarragona they have a large shopping mall where I always spend to much money (Oops!). But there are a lot of other things to do, you could perhaps for example climb up the red mountain (third picture above) or as they call it in Spain, the 'montroig'. On the top of the mountain you can visited the Mare de Déu de la Roca where you can eat and drink something. 

The fourth picture above is taken in Parc Sama. A bohemian garden next to Cambrils, it's a 15 minutes ride from the camping. It is really beautiful and the entrance is only 3 euros per person. There are a lot of special palmtrees and fruit trees in the garden en there are also a lot of peacocks and tortoise. It is allowed to feed the animals in the park, especially for little children it is very fun to do! 

We didn't do much because when we are going to Spain it is to relax and enjoy the beach and the sun (And my parents are kinda lazy). But that doesn't mind because I love every second of it and every time I come back to that special camping it feels like I have never left.
