Luckies girl in the world Let me first explain the title of this blogpost. I would have never been on this trip if I didn’t have joined the Neckermann competition in February 2016. Neckermann is a travel agency who had set up a competition to win a holiday. As some of you know I love competitions and sometimes I can be very lucky. And this was that time, I’ve won a journey *HURRAY!*. So my lovely boyfriend and I decided to go somewhere where the sun is always shining even if it was just spring. We looked up some places but eventually we ended up in the south of Spain, to be specific, in Nerja. Nerja is a very cute village just 50 km away from Malaga. It’s very authentic and it has a lot of special beaches. We stayed in a park with a lot of apartments, called “El Capistrano Village”. We had our own apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, living room, terrace, garden and a wonderful view. We could see the ocean and the mountains and the whole village beneath us. The staff of the park was very friendly; they all speak very good English because Nerja is very popular in Great Britain. We arrived at 2 April. We flew from Amsterdam to Zürich and from Zürich to Malaga (Because that was the cheapest way). When we arrived we first had to pick up our rental car at the airport. It only costed us 120 euros for seven days. A rental car was necessary because Nerja is a 50 minutes ride from Malaga airport. And it’s also very handy to discover the places around Nerja and to visit some cities and local markets. And that’s what we did! We visited the caves in Nerja, the city Granada, the market in Frigiliana, the Mc’Donalds in Almuñecar (yeah we had to find some free wifi haha), the mini Hollywood Texas in Tabernas, the boulevard in Torremolinos and the Sierra Nevada mountain next to Granada. I’m so glad I had to take this trip together with my boyfriend. The days have gone so fast and we had so much fun. We would definitely visit Nerja again in the future! So winning the holiday wasn’t the only reason that I’m the luckiest girl in the world…
