On my own. This journey was different from all the other journeys. Instead of traveling with my friends or family, I decided to travel on my own together with a group of people who where also alone. I booked the holiday to Saalbach Hinterglemm (Austria) one week before the data I was supposed to leave, so it was kind off a last minute decision. It was exciting and scary at the same time because I didn't know what kind of people I could expect. As some of you know I am not a party animal and I prefer sleeping instead of going to the club. So the change that I wouldn't fit in was a little bit higher. But fortunately all of the people were nice and they accepted my 'sleeping addiction'. I booked this solo journey through snowmania.nl. They organise different winter and snow trips for young adults. The trip costed 800 euros and it was all inclusive (The bus transfer, the hotel and breakfast and dinner). The hotel we stayed in was Young Generation resort Buchegg, it was a new hotel with very modern interior. The hotel was next to the slopes so we could literally step out of our hotel room and board to the valley. We were so lucky with the weather! In the day time the sun was shining and we could sit outside with our Apfelstrudel and our hot chocolate. And when we were sleeping it was snowing outside, so the slopes were covered with fresh new powder snow. When we started in the morning we were the first ones who made a track in the snow. Saalbach Hinterglemm is a large ski area. You can ski to one place to another, you don't have to stick to one area so you'll never get bored. When I look back I had a great time! I've made new friends and this holiday is one to remember! never doubt about it when you're thinking about traveling on your own because it will be awesome!
