Autumn leaves.
In October 2013 I went to an apartment in Germany next to Winterberg. The apartment had room for 24 people and a had a nice view along the giant garden (where we made a lot of campfires that weekend). I had my own room in the apartment with a private bathroom. The apartment had everything we need and there was a nice and cosy atmosphere. The only disadvantage the apartment had was that it was build right next to a church who rings the bells at 6 o’clock in the morning. The apartment was 20 minutes away from Winterberg, which was the only place where you could go grocery shopping. The city centre of Winterberg is a cute place where you can eat and drink something. There aren’t many shops to buy clothes and stuff, most of the shops are particulars with traditional products from Germany. The supermarket in Winterberg is very large and has a lot of diverse products, especially the chocolate department is ama-zing! I always love to visit a German supermarket because they have so much more than we have in the Netherlands. Besides visiting the centre of Winterberg we didn’t do much that weekend. We stayed in the apartment and we enjoyed the nature around us. There were two dogs with us so we walked a lot in the environment, which was really beautiful. Especially because of all the autumn colours! Leaves were falling down and you could smell fire places everywhere. It was a relaxing weekend and I really loved it!
